Client Support Specialist

The Customer Service Representative serves as the initial point of contact for customer inquiries and transactions within the bank. This role involves collaborating with a dedicated team to efficiently handle a variety of banking operations, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to determine their needs, fulfill requests, and provide answers to inquiries.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in transactions.
- Process cash item deposits, savings deposits, and withdrawals with accuracy.
- Handle loan, credit card, and utility payments effectively.
- Manage the sale and redemption of savings bonds.
- Reconcile night deposits and transactions received by mail.
- Supervise the vault and ATM operations when assigned.
- Adhere to cash handling protocols to ensure all funds are secured and accurately accounted for.
- Complete necessary documentation for holds and Currency Transaction Reports (CTR's).
- Maintain safety and security standards consistently, including following dual control measures when required.
- Process check cashing requests.
- Monitor and maintain assigned cash levels, ensuring drawer balances are accurate and addressing any discrepancies.
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards throughout all interactions.
- Promote bank services, including gift cards, and identify opportunities for cross-selling, referring customers to Personal Bankers as needed.
- Utilize back-office systems to transmit transactions to corporate and resolve any balancing issues.
- Exhibit flexibility in scheduling to accommodate various hours and locations within the market.
