About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of ionizing radiation in diagnostic radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain patient clinical history and lab work, documenting information for use by licensed practitioners.
  • Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories.
  • Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and document patient dose exposures.
  • Interact professionally with physicians, technologists, and hospital staff.

Requirements:

  • Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association
  • EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience preferred
