We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner II to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role

The Respiratory Care Practitioner II will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and educating patients and families on respiratory care techniques. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in respiratory therapy or a related field
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
  • Experience in respiratory care, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
