Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT) certification.
