Overview

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures.
  • Collect and prepare patient samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Administer ordered medical treatments and vaccines.
  • Track patient follow-up appointments and schedule referrals as needed.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation in patient electronic health records.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Current CME certification for Certified Medical Assistant and AAMA, NCCT, RMA or NHA certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Mandatory Reporter certification.
  • Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
