Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse PreOp PACU plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by utilizing the nursing process, adhering to the medical plan of care, and following organizational protocols.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Experience Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in PreOp PACU, ICU, or critical care settings.
  • Preferred experience in an ambulatory surgical center.
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and their application.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
