Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Spiritual Care Professional to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a Chaplain Associate, you will provide direct spiritual care to patients, family members, and healthcare staff, demonstrating compassion, acceptance, respect, and sensitivity.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and one unit of ACPE Certified CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) or completion of one unit of ACPE certified CPE within one year of hire. Previous experience in healthcare chaplaincy is preferred, particularly in acute care settings.

In this role, you will assist individuals in crisis, facilitate theological reflection, and provide holistic spiritual care to address the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients, families, and healthcare teams.

You will also be responsible for assisting with ethical decision-making, providing support for patients and families wishing to involve their faith community leaders in their care, and responding to emergencies and traumas in a timely manner.

The salary range for this position is $24.96 - $37.44 per hour, based on education, training, work experience, and other factors.
