**Job Title:** Cybersecurity Specialist

**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year

**About the Role:** As a Cyber Operations Specialist in the U.S. Army, you will play a crucial role in protecting the cyber domain and ensuring the security of sensitive information.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide intelligence and network support to safeguard the cyber domain
  • Analyze digital data to identify potential threats
  • Maintain network defense tools, including routers and firewalls
  • Evaluate network defense operations to optimize performance
  • Respond to incidents in cyberspace

**Training and Certifications:** Job training for this role includes completing 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and two phases of Advanced Individual Training (AIT). Phase one includes 25 weeks of training in Corry Station, Florida, while phase two lasts 20 weeks and takes place in Fort Gordon, Georgia. You will receive industry-leading certifications, including CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA).
