Nurse Educator Position

The Nurse Educator position at Augusta University is a grant-funded role that provides care coordination between patients and providers, health education, and monitoring of maternal chronic conditions. This individual will assist with project planning, implementation, and documentation within the contract and institutional guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate care delivery with providers and patients
Ensure scheduled project visits are confirmed
Follow-up with community members and participants
Assist project coordinator with data collection, entry, and quality control
Maintain project files according to project policies
Lead education sessions with mothers
Maintain outstanding relationships with community partners
Attend meetings with community partners
Participate in project planning and development of research protocols
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
A valid Georgia Registered nursing License
A minimum of three years total experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with women's health, diabetes, and/or cardiology
