Lineman 1st Class

UGI Utilities, Inc. is seeking a skilled Lineman 1st Class to join our team. As a Lineman 1st Class, you will be responsible for working alone or with other linemen to respond to trouble reports, assess and diagnose situations, and safely restore service and/or make conditions safe to the public.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to trouble reports and assess/diagnose situations
- Safely restore service and/or make conditions safe to the public
- Operate and maintain transmission and distribution systems
- Work with overhead and underground systems, including primary extensions, secondary extensions, transformer banks, and more
- Communicate with customers and electricians to resolve electrical issues
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, including 4 years as a Lineman Second Class and 1 year in training for Lineman First Class
- 1st class Journeyman Lineman Certificate and successful completion of a recognized Lineman Apprenticeship
- Valid PA Commercial Driver's License Class A, air brake restriction removed
- Pole Top Rescue, Bucket Truck Rescue, CPR, First Aid, Equi-Potential Grounding, Buck Squeeze, OSHA 10 Hr.
