Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Regional Water Authority. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and promoting our STARS values of Service, Teamwork, Accountability, Respect, and Safety.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate and timely information
  • Analyze and research customer accounts to resolve issues and concerns
  • Collaborate with internal teams and field representatives to provide comprehensive service to our customers
  • Update customer files and records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Communicate with customers to schedule service appointments and gather necessary information
  • Generate field orders and process adjustments to customer accounts as needed
  • Assist in the training of new employees and provide guidance on customer service best practices
  • Establish payment arrangements with customers and review aged receivables to ensure timely collection
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • At least one year of experience in an office environment, including contact with the public
  • Strong desire to work with people and provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to resolve issues and achieve goals
