Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve as the Director of the Child and Adolescent Division at Elmhurst Hospital Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care and developing innovative programs to meet the unique needs of our culturally diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Child and Adolescent Division, including the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit, Partial Hospitalization Program, Pediatric Consultation Program, Outpatient Clinic, School Based Mental Health Program, Home Based Crisis Intervention Program, and ACGME accredited Fellowship Training Program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes, increase access to care, and enhance the overall quality of services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients and families.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure the financial sustainability of the division.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in child and adolescent psychiatry.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree.
- Completion of ACGME accredited residency training program in psychiatry and fellowship training program in Child and Adolescent psychiatry.
- ABPN certification in psychiatry and Child and Adolescent psychiatry.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years post-fellowship experience.
- Previous clinical and administrative leadership experience.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly activities and interest in education and training.
