We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco.
Job Summary:The Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco invites applications for a Child and Adolescent Psychologist position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and educational services to children and adolescents, as well as participating in teaching, supervision, and assessment of trainees.
Responsibilities:- Provide clinical services to children and adolescents, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement educational programs for children and adolescents, including workshops, lectures, and training sessions.
- Participate in teaching, supervision, and assessment of trainees, including medical students, residents, psychology interns, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students.
- Collaborate with training program directors in clinical curricular development for medical students, residents, psychology interns, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students in various disciplines.
- Engage in innovation and continual improvements in clinical and educational programs.
- Participate in clinical scholarship and research activities.
- PhD or PsyD in Child and Adolescent Psychology or a related field.
- Pre- and post-doctoral training in child and adolescent psychology or a related field.
- Licensed to practice psychology in California at the time of appointment and in good standing.
- Demonstrated clinical and educational expertise in child and adolescent psychology.
- Demonstrated ability in teaching and clinical supervision.
- Demonstrated interest, cultural competence, and sensitivity to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Interest in and willingness to support clinical research activities and demonstrated contributions to scholarly or creative activities.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
