Executive Chef Job Description

At Spooky Nook Sports, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our Food and Beverage operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus for all food and beverage outlets
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Manage inventory and supplies
  • Collaborate with sales and banquet teams to create special event menus
  • Monitor and control food costs
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with 5+ years as an Executive Chef
  • 8+ years of management experience, with at least 3 direct reports
  • Dependable transportation to and from work
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or a related field
  • Familiarity with global operational functions of an entertainment venue
  • Strong understanding of inventory par levels
  • Previous experience working in hospitality
  • Previous experience working with BEOs and contracts
Working Conditions:

Our kitchen environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You will be required to work in a team environment, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. You will also be required to lift, push, pull, lower, and/or move up to 10 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
