About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. This is a $93,000 - $105,000/year full-time position that requires a strong background in nursing and leadership.

About the Job Description

This role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts. You will collaborate with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures.

Additionally, you will serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ACLS or successful completion of ACLS within three months of hire.
  • Chemotherapy certification preferred.
