As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Medical, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient-centered care and advancing the practice of nursing.
Job SummaryThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator ensures high-quality patient care and coordinates all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts. Collaborating with management team members, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serving as a resource person for staff and modeling commitment to the organization's vision and mission.
- Assists with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput and quality patient care.
- Participates in ongoing assessment of patient care services in collaboration with the management team.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
You will:
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Recommend and implement courses of action for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Manage practical aspects of staff labor according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS or successful completion within three months of hire.
- Chemotherapy certification preferred.
