Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Scientist to join our team at Innova Solutions. As a key member of our scientific team, you will be responsible for executing and troubleshooting analytical assays for the characterization of mRNA molecules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and troubleshoot analytical assays for the characterization of mRNA molecules
  • Assist in the design and evaluation of new analytical development assays
  • Assist in establishing SOPs and protocols for analytical assays
  • Manage samples and data related to mRNA platform process development
  • Optimize workflows for assessing mRNA attributes and impurities
  • Provide experimental design and executional support to team members in adjacent and related functions
  • Actively participate and support lab maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebook and documentation
  • Summarize and present data in group meetings and contribute to group discussions
  • Author technical reports, study memos, and protocols
Requirements
  • STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in generating and interpreting qPCR and RT-PCR data sets
  • Proficiency with capillary electrophoresis (Sciex PA800 Plus system), Agarose gel electrophoresis, and/or TapeStation analysis
  • Proficiency with ELISA workflows
  • Experience working with, storing, and analyzing purified nucleic acids
