We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Scientist to join our team at Innova Solutions. As a key member of our scientific team, you will be responsible for executing and troubleshooting analytical assays for the characterization of mRNA molecules.
Key Responsibilities- Execute and troubleshoot analytical assays for the characterization of mRNA molecules
- Assist in the design and evaluation of new analytical development assays
- Assist in establishing SOPs and protocols for analytical assays
- Manage samples and data related to mRNA platform process development
- Optimize workflows for assessing mRNA attributes and impurities
- Provide experimental design and executional support to team members in adjacent and related functions
- Actively participate and support lab maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebook and documentation
- Summarize and present data in group meetings and contribute to group discussions
- Author technical reports, study memos, and protocols
- STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in generating and interpreting qPCR and RT-PCR data sets
- Proficiency with capillary electrophoresis (Sciex PA800 Plus system), Agarose gel electrophoresis, and/or TapeStation analysis
- Proficiency with ELISA workflows
- Experience working with, storing, and analyzing purified nucleic acids
- Competitive pay range of $67-$69 per hour
