Key Responsibilities- Provide direct instruction in whole-class, small group, and individual settings
- Utilize data-driven instruction and educational frameworks to deliver standards-driven instruction to all students
- Complete assessments, grading, planning, and conferences with students, staff, and families within appropriate timelines
- Collaborate with team members, special education staff, and outside agencies to identify and implement strategies for supporting students with exceptional needs
- Develop and maintain regular family communication and community partnerships
- Complete reports and follow-up documentation as required by administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date cumulative folders for all current students
- Contribute to a positive and supportive school culture by participating in school and community committees
- Contribute to the organization's mission and reflect the priorities of the school
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of special projects
- Establish a positive, healthy, and safe work environment in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations
- Valid Indiana State Teaching License or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in field of education

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Manual dexterity to dial a telephone, enter data into a computer

- Ability to hear and understand speech at normal classroom levels
- Ability to speak in audible tones
- Physical agility to lift up to 25 pounds to shoulder height and 50 pounds to waist height
- Ability to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, climb stairs, walk, and reach overhead
