Job Title: Climate Education Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and charismatic Climate Education Outreach Coordinator to join our team at Action for the Climate Emergency. As a key member of our education team, you will play a critical role in increasing teacher awareness and interest in our in-person climate education programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct phone calls and emails to teachers in key regions to promote our climate education programs
  • Follow up on responses and be persistent in your outreach efforts
  • Research and document additional methods of outreach to maximize our reach
  • Participate in project management and communicate with relevant teammates on Slack

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of work experience in sales or phone outreach
  • Must have access to own computer with reliable internet
  • Must be comfortable working remotely and independently on projects
  • Strong attention to detail, with demonstrated project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent people and communication skills

Position Details:

  • Schedule: 10 hours per week, flexible schedule
  • Hourly pay: $25 per hour, with additional metrics-based financial incentives available
  • Location: Remote, with preference for Milwaukee, WI
  • Temporary, Non-Exempt, while funding lasts
