Key Responsibilities:
  • Community Operations:
    • Provide visionary leadership and direction for overall community operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional results.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to drive Wyndmoor's hospitality focus, service delivery goals, and financial objectives.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage budget to meet community needs and company goals, ensuring fiscal responsibility and prudence.
  • Reporting and Compliance:
    • Report to the Regional Director of Operations, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education and Experience:
    • Must be 21 years of age and hold a valid administrator license.
    • Three or more years of successful operational experience in senior housing.
    • Three or more years of supervisory experience in senior services.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Knowledge of federal and state industry regulations.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Hospitality and Customer Service:
    • Ensure staff performs all duties with a hospitality focus, meeting and exceeding resident requests and needs.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Achieve operating margin and cash flow goals, including budgeted revenue and expense goals.
  • Talent Management:
    • Lead the sales team to achieve marketing and occupancy goals.
    • Interview, hire, train, evaluate, supervise, support, counsel, and develop management team.
    • Ensure managers interview, hire, train, evaluate, supervise, support, counsel, and develop staff appropriately.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure community is compliant with all Federal, State, and local requirements.
  • Community Representation:
    • Serve as an effective representative for Wyndmoor in the surrounding community.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, benchmark, and direct staff to ensure high quality resident care and services are delivered.
    • Prepare and operate within annual budget.
    • Effectively supervise department directors.
    • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
    • Assist in the evacuation of residents.
    • Demonstrate effective people skills with staff, residents, families, vendors, and community.
    • Read and interpret financial records and reports.
    • Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
    • Be knowledgeable of administration practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the senior services industry.
    • Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the administration department.
    • Perform proficiently in all competency areas, including daily leadership responsibilities, supervisory responsibilities, financial responsibilities, regulatory compliance, resident rights, and safety and sanitation.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
    • Understand and follow company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures.
    • Display integrity and professionalism by adhering to Wyndmoor's Code of Ethics and complete all required compliance training.
