Key Responsibilities:- Community Operations:
- Provide visionary leadership and direction for overall community operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional results.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to drive Wyndmoor's hospitality focus, service delivery goals, and financial objectives.
- Financial Management:
- Manage budget to meet community needs and company goals, ensuring fiscal responsibility and prudence.
- Reporting and Compliance:
- Report to the Regional Director of Operations, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Education and Experience:
- Must be 21 years of age and hold a valid administrator license.
- Three or more years of successful operational experience in senior housing.
- Three or more years of supervisory experience in senior services.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of federal and state industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Hospitality and Customer Service:
- Ensure staff performs all duties with a hospitality focus, meeting and exceeding resident requests and needs.
- Operational Excellence:
- Achieve operating margin and cash flow goals, including budgeted revenue and expense goals.
- Talent Management:
- Lead the sales team to achieve marketing and occupancy goals.
- Interview, hire, train, evaluate, supervise, support, counsel, and develop management team.
- Ensure managers interview, hire, train, evaluate, supervise, support, counsel, and develop staff appropriately.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure community is compliant with all Federal, State, and local requirements.
- Community Representation:
- Serve as an effective representative for Wyndmoor in the surrounding community.
- Additional Requirements:
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, benchmark, and direct staff to ensure high quality resident care and services are delivered.
- Prepare and operate within annual budget.
- Effectively supervise department directors.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
- Assist in the evacuation of residents.
- Demonstrate effective people skills with staff, residents, families, vendors, and community.
- Read and interpret financial records and reports.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Be knowledgeable of administration practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the senior services industry.
- Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the administration department.
- Perform proficiently in all competency areas, including daily leadership responsibilities, supervisory responsibilities, financial responsibilities, regulatory compliance, resident rights, and safety and sanitation.
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
- Understand and follow company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures.
- Display integrity and professionalism by adhering to Wyndmoor's Code of Ethics and complete all required compliance training.
