About the Role

The Preadmission Clinic Nurse Practitioner is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for evaluating and following up with patients undergoing complex surgical procedures. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and patients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and follow up with patients undergoing complex surgical procedures, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Endoscopy, and Cardiovascular EP and TAVR.
  • Assist with phone interviews of complex pre-surgical patients and provide support to providers, patients, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Work in an outpatient and inpatient setting, with a Monday to Friday schedule and possibility of flexible scheduling.
  • Primary location: Swedish First Hill Seattle; Secondary location: Swedish Issaquah.
  • Background in bariatric surgery and/or laparoscopic surgery preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in surgical patient care preferred.
What We Offer

Swedish Medical Centers offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $127,018 to $162,448 per year, as well as productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, and extra shift incentives. Providers may also have CME benefits available to them.
