About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled nurse practitioner to join our team in the Tacoma, Washington area. As a nurse practitioner physician, you will work in a skilled nursing facility, providing primary care to patients with diverse medical needs. Your expertise will be valued and respected, and you will have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care to patients in a post-acute setting, managing chronic diseases and implementing plans of care
- Order and interpret lab results, prescribe and monitor medications, and consult with physicians to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills and healthy lifestyle changes
- Build relationships with patients, families, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
- A minimum of 1 year experience as a nurse practitioner in a primary care setting
- Post-acute care experience a plus, but not required
- Active and unrestricted Washington NP license required
- Active and unrestricted Washington DEA required
We offer a productivity-based model (Fee for Service) that allows you to maximize your income potential. Our estimated annual salary range is $145,000 to $160,000, with no cap on productivity income potential. As a full-time clinician, you will be eligible for an excellent comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) plan, health, dental, and vision insurance, long and short-term disability, FSA, group term life insurance, Flex Time bank, and employee assistance program.
