Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent will:

  • Utilize advanced problem-solving techniques to pinpoint, assess, and address intricate business issues through a Continuous Improvement framework.
  • Assist in the formulation, execution, and upkeep of policies, processes, and procedures aimed at bolstering operational efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis by identifying issues, gathering relevant data, determining causal factors, and implementing effective solutions to advance projects.
  • Propel high-priority initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, effectively communicating analytical insights to diverse audiences.
  • Establish and oversee Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) pertinent to each area of responsibility.
  • Employ Continuous Improvement methodologies, such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), to detect inefficiencies, minimize cycle times, and uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate each project's potential for improvement by assessing risks, budgets, value generation prospects, and required efforts to achieve results, providing actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and offer Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance to a team of Continuous Improvement Engineers.
  • Lead a cross-functional project team in the execution of selected improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure that enhanced processes are replicable and that benefits are realized and sustained.
  • Guide and develop a team focused on enhancing business performance and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Promote the establishment of a Continuous Improvement culture within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Systems, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related business field.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and exhibit self-motivation in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment.
  • Proficient in resolving complex challenges through analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders from various backgrounds and organizational levels.
  • Technical proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or higher, with responsibilities including leading Kaizen events and conducting Root Cause Analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Familiarity with technical tools such as R, UI Path, or other RPA software.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role includes supervisory duties.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type:

This is a full-time role with a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, with some flexibility as required.

Travel Requirements:

Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
