Ultrasound Technologist - Part Time

Rhode Island Medical Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound exams on patients, ensuring high diagnostic quality and accuracy
  • Interact effectively with patients, referring physicians, and staff, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and imaging procedures
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring proper operation and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
Requirements:
  • Registered in ultrasound by the ARDMS in at least one application
  • Experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular ultrasound
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and position patients and supplies up to 50 pounds
