About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Jet Health in Boise, ID and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) to ensure high-quality care for patients with terminal illnesses.
  • Develop and implement patient plans of care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and other staff members on palliative care and end-of-life care.
  • Perform home visits and document patient care as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with attending physicians, consulting physicians, and other personnel regarding patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
  • Current State license as a Registered Nurse and as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
  • Two years' experience as an APN in a clinical care setting, preferably hospice or home health.
  • Nursing skills as defined by generally accepted standards of practice.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, palliative care, and end-of-life care.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate is based on industry standards for similar positions in the Boise, ID area.
