Overview
Kettering Health Network is a non-profit healthcare organization comprising multiple medical facilities and outpatient services dedicated to enhancing the healthcare experience across southwest Ohio. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care at every life stage, whether through direct patient services, educational initiatives for future healthcare professionals, or community outreach programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties:
- Conducts comprehensive sleep studies including polysomnograms, PAP titrations, ASV titrations, BPAP titrations, as well as MSLT and MWT assessments.
- Diagnoses and resolves equipment and sensor issues.
- Prepares for unique patient needs and complex sleep study scenarios.
- Demonstrates the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Ensures accuracy in scoring sleep studies through interscoring reliability.
- Performs additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum educational requirement is a High School diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Must possess one of the following credentials, with RPSGT being the preferred option:
- RPSGT, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
- RST, Registered Sleep Technologist, from the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM).
- Credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC):
- CPFT, Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist.
- RPFT, Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist.
- CRT, Certified Respiratory Therapist.
- RRT, Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Must hold a current BLS certification, which can be obtained post-hire.
