Job Summary

The MedServ Group is seeking a talented Optometrist to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. As an Optometrist with our company, you will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional patient care to the senior population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat ocular diseases.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses or eye medications as needed to promote healthy vision.
  • Provide pre and post-operative care to surgical patients, ensuring a smooth recovery process.
  • Counsel and educate patients on healthy vision habits and eye care best practices.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and active state license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
  • A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics.
  • Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients and staff.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive rates (commensurate with experience) and a range of benefits, including:

  • 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care.
  • Extremely flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs.
  • Percentage Pay Option: 35% - 40% of collections (around $1050 - $1200 per visit for 25 patients).
  • Per patient Option: $40-$45 per patient per visit.
  • Average day: 6-7 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
  • Sign-on Bonus.
  • Back office administrative support.
  • Clinical support.
  • All doctors are 1099 (independent contractors).
