Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

The primary objective of a Maintenance Supervisor is to develop and implement long-term plans for enhancing maintenance activities, providing technical assistance to supported manufacturing departments, and ensuring the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and enforce corporate safety policies, initiatives, and plant housekeeping standards.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Support the plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost goals.
  • Supervise construction and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and manpower constraints.
  • Assist in the implementation of divisional and corporate policies, promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.
  • Maintain schedules and quality requirements, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement safety and good housekeeping standards, fostering a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Train, develop, and evaluate employees, promoting growth and development within the organization.
  • Comply with local and national labor agreements, upholding the company's commitment to fair labor practices.
  • Initiate contact with internal and external teams to resolve problems and drive results.
  • Implement planned maintenance activities, ensuring proactive and preventive measures to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
