Landscape Architect

We are Aurora Ventures, a forward-thinking organization seeking a skilled Landscape Planner/Landscape Architect to join our team in the Department of Civil Engineering, Public Space, and Landscape. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a completed degree in Landscape Planning/Landscape Architecture (Bachelor) and is classified in pay group 11 according to TVöD.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing plans for public green spaces, landscaping in urban areas, and landscape design.
- Organizing and managing landscape, green space, and habitat maintenance, as well as roadside greenery upkeep.
- Tendering, accepting, and invoicing maintenance measures by external contractors.
- Managing city trees, organizing new, replacement, and supplementary plantings, and irrigation systems.
- Organizing tree care, including tendering, acceptance, and invoicing.
- Developing and maintaining special habitats in connection with species protection.
- Maintaining and creating a green space register with division of maintenance areas and description of contracted maintenance scope.
- Providing support for the planning of new forms of burial and burial fields in the cemetery.
- Serving as a contact person for the public, nature conservation associations, and government agencies regarding green spaces and trees.
