Location and Department: Porter Hills Village | Dining Services
Shifts and Schedule: 4:00 pm-8:00 pm, approximately 12 hours/week, with varying days and every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Job Summary:
The Dining Server Associate provides exceptional customer service and enhances the dining experience for residents. Key responsibilities include serving meals with a smile, taking and ensuring accuracy of orders, catering to special dietary requirements, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or server in a restaurant, nursing home, or retirement community serving older adults is beneficial but not required
- Ability to participate in frequent stooping and bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
