About the Role
Job Summary:
HCA Enterprise is seeking a seasoned Division Medical Director to oversee its network of hospitals in the South Atlantic region. As a senior-level executive, you will provide leadership and guidance for division initiatives within the Anesthesiology Service Line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior anesthesia administrative duties, serving as a senior regional service line leader.
- Oversee clinical operations, patient care initiatives, and maintenance of strategic relationships with division and facility senior leadership, physicians, and ancillary department leads.
- Involvement in leadership development and knowledge of hospital-based physician services, multidisciplinary team development.
- Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements related to clinical practice.
- Display consistent professional behavior that enhances the public image of the organization.
- Experience with quality reporting systems (Dashboards, Medaxion, Q-Genda, NATE, CRIMSON) and familiarity with computer systems/applications.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
- MD/DO required, MBA a plus, Anesthesiology board certification.
- Minimum of 5 years' healthcare experience, preferably in Hospital Based physician services/healthcare consulting/financial oversight for clinical operations.
