Laryngologist Faculty Position

The University of Minnesota's Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, available on either an academic or clinician track, depending on the applicant's qualifications and interests.
Clinical Responsibilities:
This role involves becoming part of a multidisciplinary team that currently consists of three faculty laryngologists and seven specialized speech pathologists, all of whom possess expertise in voice and upper airway disorders. The team collaborates closely with additional speech pathologists focused on swallowing disorders.
Successful candidates will be expected to establish a comprehensive laryngology practice, providing clinical services at the University of Minnesota Medical Center/M Health. We encourage applicants who are dedicated to developing a clinical research program.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited ACGME Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency program.
- Successful completion of a Laryngology fellowship or equivalent training.
- Eligibility or certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
- Possession or eligibility for Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification in Minnesota.
- Meet the necessary criteria for Credentialing and Privileges.
- Eligibility for work authorization in the United States, maintaining legal status according to the requirements of the applicable VISA category.
