VDS Delivery Driver

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a VDS Delivery Driver. As a key member of our Dining Services Operations team, you will be responsible for receiving and recording all food products, supplies, and merchandise.

• Receive, date, and record all food, supplies, and merchandise
• Maintain accurate inventory records of all food products, supplies, and merchandise entered into the building
• Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned
• Work with management and co-workers to instill and foster the value of the Villanova Mission Statement and the Dining Services Mission Statement

• One year of experience as a receiver or related field in dealing with inventory control
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks
• Basic communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to use chemicals daily and use proper protective equipment as called for by the specific chemical and task
• High School Diploma desirable
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs independently

This position requires the ability to sit/stand for extended periods and withstand extreme temperatures (hot/cold). The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:30pm, with special events including late nights and weekends required.
