Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in Edgewater, New Jersey.

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of a physician, the Cardiovascular Technologist will prepare patients, assemble and operate hemodynamic and electrophysiologic equipment during interventional and diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent
  • Assemble and operate hemodynamic and electrophysiologic equipment, including EKG and pressure recordings
  • Monitor vital signs and analyze intercardiac electrogram results
  • Perform direct and indirect patient care, including maintaining accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • High school graduation or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in biological science or clinical health-related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year of cardiovascular experience required
  • Ability to perform hemodynamic/electrophysiologic monitoring and calculation preferred
  • RCIS, RCES, or IBHRE certification preferred
