Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Montefiore Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for interventional and diagnostic procedures, assembling and operating hemodynamic and electrophysiologic equipment, and monitoring vital signs and EKG recordings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including assembling and operating equipment
  • Monitor vital signs, EKG recordings, and pressure readings
  • Analyze intercardiac electrogram and report results
  • Perform direct and indirect patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
  • High school graduation or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in biological science or clinical health-related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year of cardiovascular experience required
  • Ability to perform hemodynamic/electrophysiologic monitoring and calculation preferred
  • RCIS, RCES, or IBHRE certification preferred
  • BLS certification required
