We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as Vice President Group Director, Media Investment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing investment leadership across paid Video channels, including TV, CTV, and Addressable TV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Investment Strategy: Manage, optimize, and expand programs for all video channels to maximize the profitability of the marketing spend.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the work of a team, managing workflow and providing strategic guidance and oversight.
  • Internal Collaboration: Operate as a connective tissue with internal agency capabilities to ensure that all relevant teams are aware of media investment details.
  • Video Channel Expertise: Speak fluently to multiple Video channels – Linear, Streaming & Addressable.
  • Client Partnerships: Act as primary point of contact for agency/holding company tools and offerings that bring immediate value to the client.
  • Analytics and Performance: Leverage historic analytics/performance to validate investment strategies and inform tactical decisions.
  • Client Collaboration: Work alongside client partners to determine how best to spend their media dollars to drive outcomes.
  • Innovation and Problem-Solving: Bring innovative solutions and out of the box thinking to partners and clients.
  • Campaign Management: Work within teams to troubleshoot and quickly problem solve campaign management issues.
  • Relationship Management: Manage and maintain relationships with internal practice leads and full investment team.
  • Leadership and Escalation: Be a leader through strength and stability, functioning as a point of escalation for clients and team members.

Requirements:

  • Media Planning and Buying Experience: 12+ years of media planning and buying experience, with a strong focus on performance media.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher, with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, communications, or equivalent.
  • Analytical Video Background: Analytical Video background – comfort with data and numbers.
  • People Management Experience: 6+ years of people managing experience, overseeing five or more reports in an account management/client services team.
  • Industry Relationships: Deep industry relationships with TV networks, streaming partners, and other publishers.
  • Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills and understanding of how to add incremental value and communicate that to our clients.
  • Communication and Writing Skills: Strong communication and writing skills – poised, precise, and kind when engaging with others.
  • Presentation and Sales Skills: Able to package, merchandise, and sell in concepts and new opportunities.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking and able to see the bigger picture.
  • Independence and Collaboration: Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting.
