Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the most appropriate radiological technique and position for patients, utilizing immobilization and support devices as needed.
- Operate radiology equipment with precision and accuracy, ensuring the highest quality images for radiologists.
- Secure patient histories and maintain accurate records, adhering to all established safety standards and practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient examination processes.
- Perform quality control tasks, including inventory management, labeling, and preparation of contrast media.
- IDNS license and graduation from an accredited AMA School of Radiology.
- CPR certification and licensure by IDNS.
- Knowledge of Health Information Systems and basic radiology equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
