We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Technician to join our Behavioral Health Unit at the Rescue Mission of Trenton. As a Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor medication and coordinate medical concerns with the Director of Nursing
- Assist with urinalysis collection and processing
- Participate in Telemedicine or Telehealth processes
- Ensure timely arrival of clients and set up rooms and equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and check vitals as needed
- Complete documentation for clients' files and maintain a professional relationship with BH staff and outside agencies
- Participate in meetings and trainings, and perform administrative duties as needed
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and Medical Assistant Program Completion
- Comfortable working in an office setting or clinic
- Precise writing skills, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to use personal computers, printers, copier, and software applications
- Spanish speaking is a plus
- A valid driver's license
- $19.00 an hour (depending on qualifications)
- Comprehensive medical and training package
- Tuesday - Saturday: 2p-10p, Sunday - Thursday: 5:45a - 1:45p
