The analyst leads teams in executing enhancements and managing small-scale projects, serving as the primary liaison between business units and IT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop application roadmaps for the business applications portfolio.

  • Define metrics to assess and validate the value generated post-implementation of ideas.
  • Lead collaborative efforts related to changes in business applications and processes.
  • Create functional specifications to ensure smooth transitions to technical delivery teams.
  • Document testing strategies and facilitate integration, acceptance testing, and issue resolution.
  • Assist in crafting training materials to support the rollout of new business processes and IT capabilities.
  • Develop and manage work plans for implementing changes to business applications.
  • Conduct interviews with application users to gather, document, analyze, and prioritize requirements.
  • Design system solutions by converting business needs into system configurations that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Formulate functional designs to support system implementations, adhering to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies like AIM.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
  • Collaborate with developers and database administrators to address application functionality concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform all essential duties effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ITIL, and implementation methodologies like AIM.
  • In-depth knowledge of business function processes, terminology, and interrelationships.
  • Familiarity with commercially available applications that meet business process needs and experience in product evaluation and selection.
  • Understanding of business and IT strategy principles within the organization.
  • Awareness of project management principles, system configuration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Insight into business systems implementation challenges.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Business from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience with HR technology applications, focusing on supporting business applications, analyzing and implementing improvements, and developing training programs.

• Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM is essential, covering areas such as Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Performance Management, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent Management, Self-service, Payroll, and Time & Labor.

• Proven experience in business process development.

Leadership Expectations:

• Expected to act as a resource for knowledge transfer, training, and quality assurance.

• May occasionally lead project teams.
