About the Position
The University of Louisville School of Medicine's Division of Gastroenterology is seeking a Gastroenterologist with expertise in Inflammatory Bowel Disease to join a dynamic team engaged in clinical and academic practice, research, and education.
Appointment will be at the rank of assistant or associate professor, depending on qualifications and experience.
Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in gastroenterology.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching: Participate in clinical diagnosis, lectures to medical students, and extramural programs such as continuing medical education lectures at area hospitals.
- Service: Interact with division chief and faculty for the development and implementation of plans for growth in the field.
- Clinical: Hospital rotations, inpatient and outpatient endoscopy, and office-based patient care with a primary focus on inflammatory bowel disease.
