Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist- Academic- Specialist

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist/Transplant Hepatologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our division, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Teaching: You will be expected to dedicate time and effort to teaching medical students, graduate students, residents, fellows, nursing personnel, and colleagues.
- Service: You will work closely with the surgical transplant chair, division directors, and department chairs to develop and implement plans for growth in Hepatology, including Transplant Hepatology.
- Clinical: You will see inpatients and outpatients with various chronic liver disorders.
- Research: You will participate in clinical trials and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
- Completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology fellowship.
