At Interim HealthCare, we're committed to providing personalized, home-based therapy that optimizes patient outcomes. As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you'll play a vital role in helping patients regain their strength, manage pain, and reach their goals in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide home-based physical therapy to patients with mobility, strength, and functionality challenges
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, OTs, and SLPs, to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Assist patients with exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility
  • Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, exercises, and self-care
  • Coach family members on safely assisting with exercises and supporting patient care
Requirements:
  • Active PTA license in Maine
  • Minimum 1 year of PTA experience, ideally in home healthcare
  • CPR certification
  • Up-to-date on all State of Maine required vaccinations
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
  • Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassion
