At Interim HealthCare of New Hampshire Careers, we're seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Home Health PTA, you'll play a vital role in helping patients regain their strength, manage their pain, and reach their goals in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide home-based physical therapy to patients with mobility, strength, and functionality challenges
  • Work collaboratively with a home health team, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, OTs, and SLPS, to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct assessments, document progress, and modify care plans as needed
  • Assist patients with exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility
  • Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, exercises, and self-care

Requirements:

  • Active PTA license in Maine
  • Minimum 1 year of PTA experience, preferably in home healthcare
  • CPR certification
  • Up-to-date on all State of Maine Required vaccinations
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
