Colonial Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinician IV to join our team in Williamsburg, VA. As a Clinician IV, you will play a critical role in assessing individual, family, and community needs related to child behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities- Consultation and Assessment: Provide consultation regarding the scheduling of assessments and delivery of services to Program Specialists, Support Staff, and Supervisees.
- Assessment and Interpretation: Administer and interpret community-approved assessment tools to provide a standardized comprehensive assessment of children and families.
- Service Planning: Initial and ongoing assessment of child and family needs, abilities, strengths, and preferences, and service planning.
- Counseling Services: Provides brief models of counseling for children, adolescents, and their parents.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Monday-Friday: Standard Business Hours. Hybrid schedule (Remote/Work-Site) depending on program needs and after successfully completing the probation.
Qualifications- Skills and Qualifications: Ability to develop individual service plans for children in collaboration with their families and other service providers.
- Knowledge and Experience: Possess knowledge of child and family systems, behavioral health disorders in children, and appropriate interventions for identified problems.
- Linkage and Coordination: Must possess the ability to link children and families with needed clinical and support services.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain an objective, professional, and calm relationship with individuals and groups in a stressful situation.
- Education and Licensure: One year of work experience with individuals with serious mental health and/or developmental disabilities preferred. Valid driver's license is required. Master's Degree in a human services field required. Must hold a valid license from the Board of Counseling or Board of Social Work (LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP) required.
