Respiratory Therapist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Dallas Regional Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care, considering age and population-specific needs.
- May be assigned as Lead RCP, responsible for the section or department during their shift.
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience as an RCP, ACLS certification within 60 days of hire, NRP certificate, PALS certificate, Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree, and High School Diploma or equivalent.
