Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Mesquite Specialty Hospital. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with breathing disorders, performing lab functions, and assuming primary responsibility for all respiratory care treatments.

Our hospital is passionate about patient care and provides critical care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. We have earned The Joint Commission's Respiratory Failure Certification and are committed to ensuring that each person in our care feels safe.

As a Respiratory Therapist at Ernest Health, you will be part of a world-class team of driven, passionate healthcare professionals who are focused on service excellence and providing top-quality care at the bedside.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with breathing disorders
  • Perform lab functions
  • Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care treatments
  • Integrate the hospital's mission and 'Guiding Principles' into daily practice
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist required
  • Current CPR Certification required
  • One (1) year recent experience in acute care setting preferred
