Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a highly skilled Regional Medical Director to lead the Gotham Health Network for NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest public healthcare system in the country.

About the Role:

As a Regional Medical Director, you will be responsible for creating clinical strategy for ambulatory care transformation across the overseen Region of sites, integrating and implementing evidence-based clinical practices, and providing direct patient care at a minimum of 2 clinical sessions per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create clinical strategy for ambulatory care transformation across the overseen Region of sites
  • Integrate and implement evidence-based clinical practices
  • Provide direct patient care at a minimum of 2 clinical sessions per week
  • Quality analytics, clinical reporting, and risk management
  • Assessment of clinical providers
  • Finance, budget, and reimbursements
  • Recruitment strategies
  • Travel to sites within the Brooklyn Region will be required
  • 70% Administrative and 30% Clinical responsibility
Qualifications:
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or equivalent care of specialization
  • Masters degree with a specialization in Health Care Administration, Administrative Medicine or in Public Health from an accredited college or university
  • Ten (10) years of full-time clinical experience, including five (5) years of supervisory experience
  • An equivalent combination of training, education and experience in related fields and educational disciplines
  • Knowledge of business and human resources administration principles, faculty practice and finance
  • Experience with FQHC, preferred
  • Knowledge of EPIC Electronic medical records
