Our Med Surg RN Neuro Unit is a unique and challenging opportunity for registered nurses to work with a patient population that requires close monitoring and nursing care.

Patient Population:

We care for patients with neurological/neurosurgical/surgical and urological diagnoses, including stroke patients and post-back surgery patients. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our patients and their families.

Nurse to Patient Ratio: 6:1

# of Beds: 18

UAP to patient ratio: 9:1

New Increased Weekend Option Differential: $7.50 RN/$5.50 LPN

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
  • Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
  • Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probationary period
  • Must have ACLS and BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire
