Job Details

This position is a travel opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in our Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics department. The ideal candidate will have experience in adult and pediatric critical care, as well as airway management and ventilation.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for:

  • Providing respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in critical care settings
  • Assisting with high-risk deliveries and responding to emergency codes
  • Performing blood gas sampling and analysis, specimen collection, and breathing parameter monitoring
  • Administering medications and using airway management devices
  • Working with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this role, the candidate must have:

  • 1 year of experience in adult and pediatric critical care
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and OH RRT
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Setting

This position will be working in a hospital setting, with a focus on adult and pediatric critical care. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have experience with airway management and ventilation.
