Music City Recon, a leading provider of automotive reconditioning services, is seeking a skilled Automotive Paint Technician to join our team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes to our clients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to dealerships for on-site cosmetic repair and paint services.
  • Inspect vehicles to be painted for repair and ensure that all necessary work is completed.
  • Prep and buff defects to ensure a smooth paint finish.
  • Mix paint to specific color using standard formulas or color charts.
  • Apply paint, sand, mask, blend, and polish finishes as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience as an auto painter, prepping, and/or collision repair technician.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to interact with coworkers and customers.
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow complex instructions.
  • Active listener with sound judgment.
  • Good multitasker and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work with strong detergents and chemicals.
  • Time spent working outside in both hot and cold weather conditions.
  • Must be willing to wear gloves and eye and ear protection.
  • We offer a 40-hour minimum work week, Monday through Friday, with competitive pay and opportunities for advancement.
